through hollows in walls, it was

illuminate burned in the mist

in the basement of the quarters, conversation

filled the darkness

as I walk in, my lingo hunchbacked

with words,

but I can’t see you

it was all an illusion

a phantom threat

shiver in the dark alleys of the mind

hungry and alone. which nothing can really

be allocated with.
